This is a flower associated with September 1. White bows, school ruler and strict heavy bouquets of gladioli.

This flower combines the polar concepts of male and female – exquisite delicate flowers and heavy spike-shaped stems that tend up and pierce the space with the peaks of buds.

The meaning of this flower was changed by my husband. He plants gladioli in our garden and does it late so that the flowers bloom for my birthday, not in August. And, knowing my love for the pink color, it cultivates only pink gladiolus of different shapes and inflorescences.

So the flower of celebration and strict ceremony has also turned into a sign of love and tenderness in my mind…
