This artwork got a Special Jury Award in International Watercolor Festival IWS Russia – 2021 “Watercolor with Love”.

The painting depicts a dancing couple against a background of red roses. The rose is a popular symbol of Argentine tango. But in my painting dance and roses exist separately. Because tango with rose is just a stereotype. And tango itself can give a dancing couple much more emotions and feelings than passion.

I hope you can see these emotions without even seeing the faces of the dancers.
